CORRECT QUESTION :-

A hemisphere of lead radius 6 cm is cast into a

right circular cone of height 75 cm. The

radius of the base of the cone is

ANSWER:-

Radius of hemisphere(R)=6cm

Height of cone(h)=75cm

Radius of cone(r)=??

Volume of hemisphere=volume of cone

2/3πR³=1/3πr²h

2/3×(6)³=1/3×r²×75

By solving it, we get

2×6×6×2/25=r²

√2×2×6×6/25=r

r=2×6/5

r=12÷5

r=2.2cm

HENCE,

OPTION 2 IS THE CORRECT .
