present ages.

And the age of man will be 10x

10x = x + 54

=> 10x - x = 54

=> 9x = 54

=> x = 54÷9

=> x = 6

therefore, Grandsons age is 6 years (x)

Man's age is 6×10 = 60 years (10x)

Let the age of grandson be x.

and the age of man will be 10X.

10X = X + 54

➡10X - X = 54

➡9X = 54.

➡X = 54 ÷ 9

➡X = 6.

Therefore, the grandson age is 6 years (X).

Man's age is 6 x 10 = 60 years ( 10X ).
