Step-by-step explanation:

Let marked price of phone by Rs 100 and cost price be Rs x

Now, x100−x=10035

or, 10000−100x=35x

or, 135x=10000

∴x=74.07

∴ Cost price=Rs 74.07

Discount =ls(10020×100)=Rs 20

∴ Selling price=ls 80

∴ Selling price =ls 80

∵ Selling price > Cost price

∴ Profit =ls (80−74.07)=Rs 5.92

∴ Profit %=74.075.92×100=8%
