Speed = 20m/s

Time = 4 hr = 4×60 = 240 s

Distance = ?

As , Speed = Distance/Time

Therefore ,

Distance = Speed × Time

= 20 × 240

= 4800 m

So , The answer In (km) will be = (4800/1000 ) Km

= 4.8 Km

Answer:

The motor cycle travels a distance of 288km.

Explanation:

Given that,

A motor cycle travels at 20m/s and reaches its destination in 4 hours.

We are required to find the distance covered by the motor cycle.

The data in symbolic form is

V=20m/s=20\times \frac{18}{5}km/h=72km/h\\t=4h

We know that,

Speed is the ratio of the distance traveled to the time taken.Therefore,

distance traveled is the product of speed and time.Mathematically we write

d=Vt

Substituting the given values in above relation we get

d=72km/h\times4h=288km

Therefore,

The motor cycle travels a distance of 288km.
