10. A number is first increased by 20% and then decreased by 20%. What is the net
increase or decrease percent?​

Let the no. be 100.

The original increased no.:-

120/100*100=120 (20% of 100+100=120)

120% of 100 = 120

The new decreased no.:-

80% of 120=80/100*120=96

Original no. is bigger than new no.

Thus, net decreased=(100-96)%=4%
