Answer:-

At first shirt was of Rs. 7600

After discount of 30% I.e 30/100 × 7600 =2280

7600-2280 = 5320 Rs

So shirt was for Rs 5320 for him now..

The he further discounted more 20%.

20% of 5320 Rs =

20/100 × 5320 = 1064 Rs, Now he got a discount of more 1064 Rs

Now, 5320 - 1064 = 4256 Rs

So, He has to give 4250 Rs after all...!

Total discount is 2280 + 1064 = 3344 Rs

Let Total % of discount be x, then

x% of 7600 = 3344

x/100 × 7600 = 3344

76x = 3344

x = 3344/76 = 44%

Hope it helps you...!

Thank you
