The rise in the level of field is 0.1409 m (approx.)

Given data :

Radius of the well is 4.2m.

Depth of the well is 38 m.

Dimensions of the field is 130m×115m.

So,

Volume of the well = {π×(4.2)²×38}m² = {(22/7)×4.2×4.2×38}m² = 2106.72 m²

Let the rise of the field = h

So,

130×115×h = 2106.72

14950×h = 2106.72

h = 2106.72/14950 = 0.1409 m (approx) (answer)
