Step-by-step explanation:

  • As we have given that the selling price of two scooters is ₹35,000 each.

Let the CP of first scooter was x

then

x+(x×25/100)=35000

» x+25x/100=35000

» 125x/100=35000

» x=35000×100/125

»28000

Hence the Cost price of First scooter that was sold at 25% gain, was 28000

Let the CP of another scooter was y

then

» Y-y×25/100=35000

» 75y/100=35000

» y= 35000×100/75

» y= 46666.66667

Hence the cost price of the scooter that was sold at 25% loss, was 46666.66667.

So total Cost price was =28000+46666.66

=74666.66.

And we have given ,total Selling price is

75000.

So total loss=75000-74666.66

So total loss=75000-74666.66= 333.34

  • Hope this will help you out
