Applications from 3 rd law
1) When a bullet is fired from a gun with a certain force (action), there is an equal and opposite force exerted on the gun in the backward direction (reaction).
2) When a man jumps from a boat to the shore, the boat moves away from him. The force he exerts on the boat (action) is responsible for its motion and his motion to the shore is due to the force of reaction exerted by the boat on him.
3. Walking: when you walk, you push the street i.e. you apply a force on the street and the reaction force move you forward.
4. When you slap someone your hand feel pain as well as the check of the victim. The pain in check due to action and in palm due to reaction force.
Applications for 2 nd law
5.Our hands get hurt more when we hit on a wall than we hit on a sponge.
6.The momentum of the fast moving ball is large.

7. One's body movement to the side when a car makes a sharp turn.
8.Tightening of seat belts in a car when it stops quickly.

When an athlete tries to stop his career, it takes several meters to stop completely, due to the inertia produced.
