1. Gather 100% lab grade ethanol and some deionised water.
16mL × (500mL ÷ 100mL) = 80mL
2. Use a graduated cylinder (Or a pipette with measurement of 20mL or 80mL for better accuracy) to measure out 80mL of ethanol.
500mL - 80mL = 420mL
3. Do the same to measure 420mL of water.
4. Mix to form 420mL of 10% (v/v) aqueous ethanol.
Titrate in order to determine the concentration is accurate!
