10 boys can a dig pitch in 12 hours. How long will 8 boys take to do it?

Time taken to dig a pitch by 10 boys = 12 hours
Time taken to dig a pitch by 8 boys = x

10x = 12*8
10x = 96
x = 96/10
x = 9.6 hours
