10) a) parasitism is an interaction in which one organism is harmed and the other one is benefited. It is a (+,-) interaction. The one which is harmed is the host and the one benefitted is the parasite.
b) Aestivation is just like hibernation. The only difference is Hibernation is winter sleep and aestivation is summer sleep
c) Amensalism is an interaction in which one organism is harmed and the other is neither harmed nor benefitted. It is a (0,-) interaction.
12) Atavism is the appearance of certain ancestral characters like tail in human baby.
13) Klinefelter's syndrome occurs due to trisomy of sex chromosomes. It is a XXY condition in which male develop feminine characters like enlarged breast. These humans are sterile.
