=>Lok Sabha
-->Lok Sabha is known as the House of the people , whereas , Rajya Sabha is known as the Council of States.
-->Lok Sabha is the Lower Chamber of Parliament ,whereas Rajya Sabha is the Upper Chamber of Parliament .
-->Lok Sabha is more powerful than the Rajya Sabha.
-->In Lok Sabha members are directly elected , whereas in Rajya Sabha members are indirectly elected.
-->In Lok Sabha , the total strength is 552 whereas, in Rajya Sabha the strength is 250 only.
-->The Rajya Sabha can initiate only ordinary bill, whereas the Lok Sabha can initiate both ordinary and money bill.
-->Regarding to any bill, the Rajya Sabha has only recommending power.Its suggestion is not binding on Lok Sabha.
-->The Lok Sabha controls the Council of Ministers.The Rajya Sabha has no control over the council of ministers.
-->In case of any joint meeting of both he houses , the chairperson of Lok Sabha presides over the meeting
-->Any ordinary bill needs to be passed by both the houses.But if there is nay dispute between the 2 houses , the final decision will be taken in a joint session of the 2 houses.As the members in Lok Sabha are more , their views prevail in such a meeting.
