• Many farm workers in one way or the other are abused. Some of the fields of exploitation cover long hours of work, poor living conditions, nil/littlewelfare security, no proper schooling for children and, last but not least, wages.  Added to this exploitation by moneylenders in the form of high debt and interest rate
• Although the government regulates the agriculture sector, many farms, particularly farms in remote regions, do not obey these regulations to any degree.
• Greater government involvement, higher funding from and and sincere involvement of NGOs, and a change of attitude for farmers would help save farm workers from being exploited.
