- An active voice indicates the action that is done by the subject whereas a passive voice indicates that the action is done by the object.
Rules:
Exchange the places of the subject and object. While converting a sentence from active to passive we should convert the main verb into its past participle which is also known as the third form of a verb. We should always use the word "by" in the passive sentence.
