Merits of pipeline transport in India are thefollowing. (i) Pipelines are use to transportwater in cities,big towns and industrial units.
(ii) There are also use in transportingpetroleum products,crude oil,natural gas etc.
(iii) Solids can also be transportedthrough pipelines when converted into slurry.
