Where,

V=potential difference across the resistor

R=resistance of the resistor

From the question we have,

V=100v

By substituting the value of V and I in equation (1) we get;

100=I\times 10^-^6

I=\frac{100}{10^-6}=10^-^4=0.1mA

Hence, the initial value of the charging current is 0.1mA. i.e.option(b).
