2

(16)^3/4 = (4^2)^3/4

= (2^4)^3/4

=(2)^(4×3/4)

= (2)^3

= 8

Hence, the correct answer is (d) 8.

Solution :

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \rightarrow  \:  \:  \: {16}^{  \large\frac{3}{4} }

 \implies \:  \sqrt[4]{ {16}}^{3}

 \implies \:  {2}^{3}

= 2 × 2 × 2

 \large \boxed{ \boxed{ = 8}}

Explanations :

  • The denominator - 4 in power of 16 will go to the radical sign

we know - 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 is equal to 16 and are the factors of 16

\therefore It will become 2³ which is equal to 8
