putting the value of y in eq 1

we get

2x-3 [8/13 -1 -1/13 7/13]=[2 5 3 1]

2x-[24/13 -3 -3/13 21/13]=[2 5 3 1]

2x=[50/13 2 36/13 34/13]

x=[25/13 1 18/13 17/13]

it is the required value of x and y
