since the sides of the rectangle are 30 m and 42 m so the radii of the semi circles are 15 m and 21 m

now area of semicircles having radius 15m =2×(22/7×15×15)/2

=707.142sq m

and area of semicircles having radius 21m =2×(22/7×21×21)/2

=1386sq m

now total area of the semicircular flowerbeds are

=707.142+1386

=2093.142 sq m
