Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In fig (a)

ar (rectangle 1)=10*2=20cm²

ar (rectangle 2)=6*4.5=27 cm²

Total area=20+27=47 cm²

*******************************************

In fig(b)

ar (rectangle 1) =6.5*0.5=3.25 cm²

ar (rectangle 1)

CP+PQ+QD= 9 cm

3.7+PQ+3.7=9

PQ=9-7.4

PQ=1.6 cm

ar (rectangle 2)=2*1.6=3.2 cm²

ar (rectangle 3)=9*2=18  cm²

Total area=1.6+3.2+18=4.8+18=22.8 cm²

*********************************

In the fig (c) ( second attachment)

ar (rectangle 1)=7*6=42 cm²

ar (rectangle 2) =2.5*4.5=11.25

So net area=42-11.25=30.75 cm²
