How to find zeros of any quadratic equation by using splitting of middle term method:-

• First see the last term of equation, is in positive or in negative , beacuse if it is in positive we split middle term by adding two numbers and if it is negative we split by subtracting two numbers.
• Then make factors of last term and make siutable pairs for middle term.
• Then solve it further by taking factors from term and then put the factors equal to 0 for find zeros of equation.

⇝x² + ( 5 +2 )x + 10

⇝x² +5x + 2x + 10

⇝x(x + 5)+ 2 (x +5)

⇝(x +5 ) ( x +2)

Factors of this quadratic equation are (x + 5)(x +2)

Zero's of this quadratic equation will be:-

➟ x + 5=0

➟x = -5

➟ x + 2 = 0

➟ x = -2

Hence , Zero's of this quadratic equation are -5 and -2.
