The required external angle is the sum of opposite interior angles in the triangle

So the answer is....

x°= 50+70=120°

70° +50° + x = 180° ( Sum of all sides of a triangle )

120° + x = 180°

x = 180°- 120°

x = 60°

Value of x is ....

x+ 60° = 180° (Linear pair of angles)

x = 180° - 60°
