x-y= 0.2 -------(2)

Adding both the equation

x+y+x-y= 1.1

2x= 1.1

X= 1.1÷2

x=0.55

Now

putting the value of x in equation 1

0.55+y = 0.9

y= 0.9-0.55

y=0.35

Therefore the value of x is 0.55 and y is 0.35 .
