Answer
The five postulates of John Dalton's atomic theory are :-
- All matter is made up of tiny, indivisible particles called atoms.
- Atoms can neither be created nor destroyed.
- Atoms of a specific element are identical in all aspects (physically and chemically).
- Atoms of different elements can combine with each other in fixed whole-number ratios in order to form compounds.
- A chemical reaction is a rearrangement(separation or combination) of atoms.

Extra Points
Dalton's atomic theory was first published in the year 1808.
Dalton's atomic theory had many drawbacks , so it is not in use now a days.
Some of the drawback of Dalton's atomic theory are :-
- Dalton stated that atoms are indivisible but subatomic particles were discovered later.
- Dalton do not stated about isotopes , isobars or allotrophs that are atoms of same elements with different properties.
