mass of so2 is  12 g

and mass of so3 is 10 g

Explanation:

S + O2 ⇒ SO2

S + O2 ⇒ SO3

let mass of so2 ⇒ x

and mass of so3⇒ 22-x

From 1st equation ,

1 mol of so2 is formed by 1 mol of sulpher.

from 2nd equation,

1 mol of so3 is formed by 1 mol of sulpher.

mole of so2  + mole of so3  ⇒ mole of sulpher

x/64 + 22-x/80

X = 12

∴ mass of so2 is  12 g

and mass of so3 is 10 g
