10.If one side of a cube is doubled, then by what % does the volume of the

corresponding cube increase?​

Volume of the original cube = a^3

Volume of the cuboid so formed = a × a × 2a =2a^3

Increase in volume = 2a^3 - a^3 = a^3

Therefore % increase in volume

 =  \frac{ {a}^{3}  \times 100}{100} \% \\  = 100\% \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:
