Given:

Solution:

  • Let, the first consecutive no. be X
  • Let, the second consecutive no. be X

According to the Question:

  \therefore \:  \: \bf{{ \color{BlueViolet}{x + x + 1 = 11}}}

 \space

\large{ \longrightarrow \:  \: { \tt{2x + 1 = 11}}}

 \space

\large{ \longrightarrow \:  \: { \tt{2x = 11 – 1}}}

 \space

\large{ \longrightarrow \:  \: { \tt{2x = 10}}}

 \space

\large{ \longrightarrow \:  \: { \tt{x =  \frac{ \cancel{10}}{ \cancel{2} }}}}

 \space

\large{ \longrightarrow \:  \: {  \boxed{  \colorbox{lavender}{\red{ \bf{x = 5}}}}}}

Therefore, the required numbers are 5 and 5 + 1 = 6.
