so, (5x ‐ 2y) : (3x + 2y)

x/y=7/5

x=7y/5

Now, put the value of x in the 1st statement

( 5×7y/5 ‐ 2y) / ( 3×7y/5 + 2y)

5y ÷ (21y/5 + 2y)

5y/1 ÷ 31y/5

25y/31y

y and y cutted and ans = 25/31
