. 2y-2x=12-(1). y+2x=6-(2). adding (1) and (2) we get. y=6. by neglecting. -2x and 2x

Step-by-step explanation:

y + 2x = 6 so we know that

we can write temporary value as y = 6 - 2x

                                                          x = 6 - y / 2

Now the second equation   here we can write 2y as  2 (6-2x ) - 2 (6 - y /2) =12

Solving the equation = 12 - 4x -12 - y  = 12

Now if we simplify this further 12 - 12 = 0

then -4x -y = 12

Here again we can write - 4 x as  -4(6 - y / 2)

= -24 + y  = 12

now we have all equative numbers soo now we can solve it as a normal eqaution = 12 + 24 = y

y = 36
