Number of workers is 360.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Percentage of skilled workers = 75%

Percentage of unskilled workers = 100-75 =25%

Percentage of skill workers are permanent = 80%

Percentage of unskilled workers are permanent = 20%

Sine the number of temporary workers = 126

\dfrac{75}{100}\times \dfrac{20}{100}x+\dfrac{25}{100}\times \dfrac{80}{100}x=126\\\\0.75\times 0.2x+0.25\times 0.8x=126\\\\0.15x+0.20x=126\\\\0.35x=126\\\\x=\dfrac{126}{0.35}\\\\x=360

Hence, number of workers is 360.
