i.e, 40 - 4 = 36m and 30 - 4 = 26m

Area = 36 × 26

        = 936m^{2}

Now the area of the lawn is = area of rectangle - area of the empty space

                                              =  1200 - 936

                                              = 264m^{2}

Given, the cost of growing the lawn per square metre is = 20

So, the cost of the area of the lawn will be =  264 × 20

                                                                       = ₹ 5280.
