10. In a triangle ABC whose perimeter measures
17.2 cm, side b is two-fifths of side a while side
c is three-fourths of side a. Find the measures
of the sides a, b, and c.​

Answer:

let the side a be X

then side b be 2/5X

side c be 3/4X

perimeter of ∆ = 17.2cm

a+b+c =17.2cm

X+2/5X+3/4X=17.2cm

43X/20=17.2cm

X=(17.2×20/43)cm

X=8cm

so,

side a=X=8cm

side b=2/5X=3.2cm

side c=3/4X=6cm
