\tt Given \begin{cases} \sf{S_{6} = 72}  \\  \end{cases}

To Find :

We have to find arithmetic mean

______________________________

Solution :

We know the formula of Sn

\Large{\star{\underline{\boxed{\sf{S_{n} = \frac{n}{2}(a + l)}}}}}

(Putting Values)

72 = 6 (a + l) /2

72 = 3 (a + l)

72/3 = a + l

a + l = 24 ......... (1)

______________________________

Note :- When we have to find the arthmetic mean between first and the last term then it is in the form of (a + l)/2

_____________________________

So, From equation 1.

a + l = 12 * 2

(a + l)/2 = 12

Hence, Arthmetic mean between the first and the last term is 12.
