RBC is a straight line so <2 = 120°

BCS is a straight line so <3 = 120°

AB is a straight line so <2 + <1 = 180°

The sum of all interior angles in equilateral triangle is 180

angle 2= 180°-60° (linear pair of angles)

= 120°

angle 3= 180 -60° = 120°

angle 1 + 60 = angle 3 (alternate interior

angles)

let angle 1 be x

x+60 = 120

x = 120-60

= 60°
