m = d × v

v= m/d = 10×1000/2 = 5000cc

Given,

Mass of the liquid = 10 kilograms

Density of the liquid = 2grams/cc

To find,

The volume of the liquid.

Solution,

The mass of the liquid is

= 10 kilograms

= 10000 grams  [ Term of unit conversion, 1000 grams = 1 kilogram]

Now, according to the definition of the density,

Volume of 2 grams of liquid is = 1 cc

Volume of 1 gram of liquid is = 1/2 cc

Volume of 10000 grams of liquid is = 10000/2 = 5000 cc = 5 litres  [ Term of unit conversion is 1 litre = 1000 cc]

Hence, the volume of the liquid is 5 litres.
