For subtracting one number from the other,

Then first we must convert that numbers into a single unit.

That is,

1 litre = 1000 ml

converting,

i )  1 litre 750 ml = 1000 ml + 750 ml

                          = 1750 ml

ii ) 10 litre 250 ml = 10 x 1000 ml + 250 ml

                            = 10,000 + 250 ml

                            =  10, 250 ml

10 L 250 ml - 1 L 750 ml = 10, 250 ml - 1,750 ml

                                        = 8,500 ml.

Converting millilitre to litre ,

\longrightarrow\bf{\dfrac{1ml}{1000}=litre}

\longrightarrow\bf{\dfrac{8,500\:ml}{1000}=8.5\: litre}

\longrightarrow\bf{8.5\:Litre= 8\:litre\:500 \:ml}

\longrightarrow\bf{10 \:l\: 250\: ml- 1\:l\:750\:ml= 8 \:l\:500\:ml}

Hope this answer can helps u dear !!♥
