1. Independence day is celebrated on August 15th every year.
2. We got Independence from the British empire in 1947.  
3. On this day, India declared a national holiday.  
4. All the schools, Colleges, Government organizations celebrate the Independence Day by organizing many cultural activities like dance, drama, singing, sports etc.
5. This day resembles that India is set to be free from slavery and can enjoy all the fundamentals rights of Indian citizenship.
6. Many freedom fighters had lost their lives in battles to get the Independence for India.
7. Few of the freedom fighters are Bhagatsingh,  Lalalajpt Rai, Subash Chandra bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc.
8. We must pay tribute to the freedom fighters that have lost their lives in bringing Independence, we hoist the flag, followed by National anthem and parades.
9. I’m proud to be an Indian that we are the celebrating “73rd year of our Independence”.
10. We should be united with all and help each other in self-developing, which leads to growth in nation.
