At the turn of 20th century it has been estimated that India has thousands of tigers.
the wildlife institute of India ( WII) and the national tiger conservation authority ( NTCA), govt. of India , have conducting the tiger conservation surveys in partnership with NGOs. It is revealed that 1760 tigers are left.
Tiger is the most animal for controlling the environmental balance. It is the most important predator.
If tiger replenish it would be harmful for the balance of the forest cycle.
Resulting in extinction of predator for other small animals as a result they will increase.
