Mother's Day is celebrated to honor mothers and acknowledge their self- less love for their families. There is a famous saying: 'God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers'. On Mother's Day we celebrate mother's godliness.
The first ever Mother's Day was celebrated by Anna Jarvis in 1908 St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. Since then it is celebrated in most of the countries on the second Sunday of May every year.
The real celebrations will happen when all of us begin to see the actual God that works for us self- effacingly all our life. We must love our mothers the way they love us.
HOPE it helps!!!!!!
