Goswami Tulsidas has impressed me a lot.

My favorite epic is Mahabharata.
Mahabharata has a special place in the
field of Indian literature.
Mahabharata was written by Ved Vyas. Its
original text is safe in Sanskrit.
The Mahabharata was developed in three
stages. In the first stage it was named
'Jai' and it had eight thousand eight
hundred verses. In the second phase, the
number of Shlokas increased to one lakh
and became famous as 'Mahabharata'.
