National Flag of India is one of the best flags in the world. Its design, color scheme, and layout is not only appealing, but highly inspirational. The color, design, and layout  of the contemporary flag was first adopted on 22 July 1947. The flag is made up of three parallel rectangular strips of saffron, white, and green colors of equal proportions. In the middle of the white strip is the famous Ashok Chakra. Each and every color and the Chakra have symbolic significance. Saffron strip is symbolic of spiritual values of renunciation and disinterestedness. White strip stands for light, truth and righteousness. Green strip is symbolic of greenery and plant life which is the base of life. Ashok Chakra represents law, principle of unstoppable movement, dynamism and change. We must revere and honor our flag.
