It is a Japanese anime series and was originally released in the language.It can be called a science-fiction cartoon as it revolves around many fictional gadgets of science.The main character is Doraemon,a robot-cat,who travels from the 22nd century to help a schoolboy Nobita who is poor at pretty everything.Whenever Nobita faces a problem,be it related to his studies or friends, Doraemon takes out a "gadget" from his pocket which "helps" him.Some science-based gadgets are the Bamboo Copter,which allows flight and the Anywhere Door,which allows entrance to any place. Sometimes,however,the gadgets land the duo in trouble.The cartoon is undoubtedly funny at some points, but at times certain incidents teach us valuable lessons like working hard,being kind etc. The friendship which exists between the two is unbreakable.The cartoon is extremely popular in countries like India. In all,we can say that it is a combination of science and values and lessons of life.

Doraemon is a robot cat famous in the animated series called Doraemon. It lives with its friend named Nobita and always helps him to do his homework and daily activities. Doraemon has a pocket present on his belly where he stores many Gadgets and timely gives to Nobita to do his work.
