fetching work = mgh ; m = mass ; g = gravity ; h = height
mass = density × volume
m = 1000 × 10 × 1000 / 1000000 = 10 kg
g = 9.8 m/s^2
h = 10 m
work = 10 × 9.8 × 10
work = 980 J................(1)
now......
delivery work = 1/2 m v^2 ( KE )
v = 10 m/s
m = 10 kg
work = 1/2 × 10 × 10 ×10 = 500J......(2)
total work = 980 + 500 = 1480J
power = 1480 / 1 = 1480 W
Note : some times horizontal work is not considered. so check ur answer
