The strength of alcohol in the solution now is 16.7 %

Explanation:

According to the dilution law,

C_1V_1=C_2V_2

where,

C_1 = concentration of pure solution = 20 %

V_1 = volume of pure acid solution = 50 L

C_2 = concentration of diluted solution= ?

V_2 = volume of diluted solution= (50+10)L = 60 L

20\times 50=C_2\times 60

C_2=16.7

Thus the strength of alcohol in the solution now is 16.7 %
