how many coins of each denomination does she have?

Let the number of 5 RS coins Maria has be x

and the number of 2 RS coins Maria has be 3x

AMOUNT OF 5 RS COINS =X * 5 = 5X

AMOUNT OF 2 RS COINS =2*3X =6X

5X + 6X =77

11 X =77

X =7

NO. OF 5 RS COINS = X = 7

NO. OF 2 RS COINS=3X=21
