Correct Question:-

10 men can complete a piece of work in 15 days and 15 women can complete the same work in 12 days. If all the 10 men and 15 women work together, in how many days will the work get completed ?

Answer:-

Given:

Amount of Work completed by 10 men in 15 days = 1

⟶ Amount of Work completed by 10 men in 1 day = 1/15

Amount of Work completed by 15 women in 12 days = 1

⟶ Amount of Work completed by 15 women in 1 day = 1/12

Now,

Let us assume that the work will be completed by both Men and women be in x days

⟶ Amount of work completed by both men and women in 1 day = 1/x

So,

⟶ 1/15 + 1/12 = 1/x

⟶ (4 + 5)/60 = 1/x

⟶ 9/60 = 1/x

⟶ 60/9 = x

⟶ 20/3 = x

The work will be completed by both men and women in 20/3 days.

  \sf \large \underline{Question}

 \sf \large\underline{ \blue{Answer}}

10 MEN ⇒ 15 days

15 WOMEN ⇒ 12 days. Let any Work is 60 unit

 \rm \: 10 \:  Men ⇒ \frac{4 \: unit}{Day}  \\ \rm \:  15 \:  Women ⇒  \frac{5 \: unit}{Day} \\

If all of them work together, work down

 \rm \: 10 M + 15 W =  \frac{9 unit}{day}

Work to be complete

 \rm \: ⇒  \frac{60unit}{9unit/day}⇒\frac{20}{3}day⇒6 \:  \frac{2}{3} days
