Answer:

16 ml of HCL requires to neutralize, 20 ml of NaOH

Explanation:

10 ml of NaOH requires to neutralize 8 ml of HCL

If, 20 ml of NaOH requires to neutralize = ? amount of HCL

10 ml of NaOH  = 8 ml oh HCL equation 1

20 ml of NaOH = x equation 2

Cross multiply equation (1) and (2)

10 x  = 20 8

x = 160/10

x = 16 ml

Since 10 ml of NaOH requires 8 mL of HCL, 20 ml of NaOH require 8 x 2 = 16mL of HCl. Hence, the answer is:-

(d) \huge\mathrm\green{16\:ml}
