Answer:neither 60 nor 40 but 80 percent

Explanation: the reaction should be like this 10hcl +5mg --> 5h2 +5mgcl2  

i have balanced it. the rxn shows 5 mol of h2 shoild have been produce but only 4 mol has produced.so (4/5)*100 is 80 percent so both options are incorrect!
