the amount of milk in the jar be 1

Jai drinks 1/7

so, we have to subtract 1/7.

1-1/7=6/7

Kiran drinks 2/3

so, we have to subtract 2/3

6/7-2/3=4/21

therefore, 4/21 of the milk is left

Answer:

Yes, it has simple solution.

First lets assume,in the jug milk quantity is 70ml.

jai drinks 1/7 means 10ml.

so 70–10=60ml milk is left in the jug.

Kiran drinks 2/3 means 40ml of milk so finally 60–40=20ml milk is left in the jug.

milk left in the jug is 20ml.

here assumed quantity is 70ml so 20ml milk left out of 70ml milk.
